
Cocoa beans from Peru
Natural and Pure, it comes from Peru from the Theobroma Cacao plant, which Linnaeus called Theobroma, from Theos which means "god" and broma "food", or food of the gods. The history of the Maya is connected to cocoa, they were probably the first to cultivate the plants and exploit them also from an economic point of view, with the development of the civilization of the Toltecs and Aztecs the cocoa beans were also used as currency. We use Piura and Chuncho varieties, both from Peru.
